Social Media Manager

Our client is a fast-expanding production and signage business in the automotive industry. Based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, they are looking for a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for the community management, and developing and implementing social media and UGC content strategy - to drive audience and engagement across social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the social media strategy in collaboration with Marketing and the Content Creator.
  • Create, in consultation with Marketing, and manage content calendar - timely & well-considered briefing and communication of planned activities to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Grow social media community focusing on newly engaged audience.
  • Community management and moderation; appropriate brand responses to engagement, messages and FAQs in a timely manner. Liaising with Product and Customer Services team where appropriate.
  • Measure and report on the success of social media channels, monitor, adjust, and evaluate results and effectiveness of key metrics e.g. community growth, profile, engagement, reach, sentiment, conversions etc. collate and share learnings.
  • Build relationships with influencers, photographers, industry specialists and relatable/complimentary pages to create a strong network and look for new opportunities to promote and engage with social communities.
  • Source, categorise, and suggest UGC to be used in various formats and across channels as appropriate e.g. Static social organic/paid posts, website, blog posts, myStory videos across digital channels.
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.

 

As an ideal candidate, you will have: 

  • 2-4 years of experience working across socials and content media.
  • Experience using social media marketing tools such as Sprout Social and Zoho Social.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing campaigns across social and other channels.
  • Great client management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse disciplines.
