They are on the lookout for a Quantitative User Researcher who is up to the challenge of working on an innovative pipeline of work for one of the biggest companies in New Zealand. The work links computer vision-based tech and voice tech in a design centric mobile app. You are comfortable with data and statistics to help understand, create and optimise the best products for their users. Great with stats, this role sits at the intersection of analytics, and data but with a human-centred design approach. You will: • Define and measure goals, signals and metrics of products in collaboration with Product managers, Business Analysts, UX designers and Engineers • Design the data strategy for user engagement and behaviour and how it drives business value to our clients • Design and run quantitative experiments to optimise products based on behavioural data of users- Improve and iterate on the user experience of apps and services by generating and testing hypotheses • Drive change by communicating insights and experiment results with client-side stakeholders as well as internal leadership • Develop statistical models to understand customer behaviours. You will be someone who is comfortable with getting deep in data, while having the ability to zoom out and see the big picture. You are naturally intrigued by what makes people tick and how that manifests in user behavior. You will bring a good understanding of live testing methods - i.e. A/B testing, cohort analysis. Any knowledge of query languages like SQL and SumoLogic and knowledge of data analysis and visualisation software R, python or Excel would be amazing!
