PR Account Manager

Our client is a PR agency that specialise in delivering tailored PR solutions to individuals and brands to elevate and drive brand engagement. This role is based fulltime inhouse in Edgecliff, Sydney.  Working with a range of clients within fashion, food, beauty and lifestyle sectors.

In this role, you will utilise your experience in public relations to hit the ground running with media pitching, securing coverage, and reporting to start delivering to client needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and create high-quality press releases and related materials
  • Send press releases and related materials to the media and follow up
  • Manage deadlines for specific client projects
  • Assisting in the planning of public relations / publicity campaigns and strategies.
  • Work with the Social media team to translate trends and leverage PR activity across social media where relevant
  • Work well with seniors within the agency and assist in achieving greater organisational objectives and goals as required.

 

As an ideal candidate, you will have: 

  • 2-4 years of experience working in both PR and Account Management, preferably within agency environments.
  • Ability to write press releases, pitch to media outlets and secure coverage for client campaigns.
  • Experience delivering strategic PR campaigns, and collaborating with social media team to leverage trends to maximise brand visibility across social media platforms.
  • Great client management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse disciplines.
  • Working inhouse / 5 days a week in the Edgecliffe, Sydney office.

As the perfect fit, you will bring at least 2+ years of experience within Public Relations as an Account Manager including experience working across key lifestyle accounts including travel, beauty and hospitality to deliver results beyond client expectations.
