Full Stack Developer

Our client is on a mission to simplify the end-to-end building experience and are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their Parnell, Auckland based, Head Office team.

About the Role:

Are you a Senior Developer ready to join this innovative team and play a crucial role in shaping the digital infrastructure and products. In this role, you will engage in all stages of software development, from conception through release, working on every aspect of the web stack. Your contributions will directly influence the user interface, application logic, and database operations, enhancing the business operations and user experience. This position is perfect for developers with a comprehensive understanding of technology, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expand and enhance their web-based projects, using React, TypeScript, Tailwind, GraphQL and PHP, encompassing both front-end and back-end development tasks.
• Work closely with the creative design team to deliver user-friendly and aesthetically
pleasing designs.
• Proactively improve the web platform by adding new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and resolving bugs.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, with the ability to learn and evaluate these technologies swiftly and autonomously.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, complemented with well-commented documentation.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold high coding standards, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable software solutions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in web development with React, with a strong background in building comprehensive web projects.
• AND/OR Solid knowledge of PHP frameworks, with a deep understanding of development patterns crucial for web applications.
• Expertise in creating responsive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience across various devices.
• Proficiency in API development and integration.
• Exceptional front-end design skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintaining a growth mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with creative teams and translate design ideas into functional products.

Bonus Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with the SilverStripe framework.
• Experience with AWS CDK, AWS SDK, and Terraform.
