Overview:

This course provides a one stop breakdown of how and why social media is being used by business in 2016. Using examples we will focus on the popular channels and their advantages/disadvantages, the important part the visual designer plays in social media activity, plus valuable tips to pass on to clients.

About Julia:

Julia Atkinson brings her knowledge to share from the angle of a small business owner, design industry provider AND a client of visual designers.

 

With over 8 years running one of NZ’s most popular design sites; Studio Home, she has combined her own experience using social media to promote her business while keeping her finger on the pulse of the activity undertaken by the large Trans Tasman network of brands and businesses she works with.

In 2015 she launched her comprehensive travelling workshop; “A Demystifying Guide to Facebook and Instagram for Small Business” to fully educate and assist freelancers, one-man bands and small projects in using these channels to their true advantage.
