A community festival celebrating zines and all things DIY | 8-29 August 2015

 

Auckland Zinefest, in partnership with a range of talented creatives and organisations, is hosting a series of interactive, fun and mostly FREE workshops and events! Get amongst.

 

Zine Market – Check out works from 60+ zine makers! FREE entry, bring cash to buy the cool things on offer
Saturday 29 August 12-5pm, Pitt St Methodist Church

 

12.30pm to 1.30pm – Typography workshop with David Coventon & Nick Baillie
1.30pm to 2.30pm – Panel discussion on Asian feminism with contributors to Mellow Yellow, a local Asian feminist zine
2.30pm to 5pm – Quick Draw Sketch Gang will be in the house to draw unique portraits for $5 a piece!

 

#scribbleAKL x Zinefest Creative Session –  Create and decorate a pop-up mock-up cardboard office inside Auckland Library for Zinefest!
