About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to help shape and scale the future of design across the digital products. This role is perfect for a designer who blends craft with strategic thinking. Someone who shapes beautiful, intuitive product experiences while building design systems and practices that enable the team to deliver exceptional work at scale.
You will work closely with the development teams and UX Strategy Lead to create scalable, consistent, and high-quality design solutions that bridge strategy and execution. As a senior member of the team, you will lead design collaboration with developers, mentor designers, and own the craft and consistency of the UX/UI practice. This role includes direct team leadership responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Operations and Product Consistency
Lead the creation, evolution, and governance of scalable design operations and systems that ensure cohesion and efficiency across all digital products.
Collaboration with Development
Partner with developers to ensure seamless handoff, uphold design quality through build, and deliver solutions that are both user-centred and technically feasible.
UX/UI Leadership
Drive the user experience and interface design of digital products, balancing creative vision with usability, accessibility, and performance.
Mentorship and Team Growth
Lead, mentor, and support a direct report and the wider design team, fostering a culture of design excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Partnership
Collaborate with the UX Strategy Lead to align design solutions with research insights, product strategy, and business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with creatives, developers, strategists, and producers to ensure design intent translates into meaningful, functional user experiences.
Process and Innovation
Champion best practices in UX and UI, incorporating modern tools, systems thinking, and emerging technologies (including AI-assisted workflows) into design processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
Confidently present and communicate design decisions to clients and internal teams, translating complex requirements into clear, user-focused solutions.
Who Are We Looking For?
7+ years of experience in UX/UI and product design, ideally within agency and/or product environments.
Proven experience collaborating closely with development teams to deliver scalable, high-quality digital experiences.
Experience in design operations and in setting up the foundational systems and principles that help design teams grow and scale with consistency.
Strong knowledge of design systems, responsive design, and component-based workflows.
Proficiency in Adobe, Figma, Miro, Fig Jam, and other modern design collaboration tools.
Strong understanding of accessibility, usability, and design best practices.
Strong communication and presentation skills and can lead workshops and presentations.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach and can improve design processes and systems.
Experience leading or mentoring other designers.

For this role, you will be an Auckland-based candidate. As with all hands-on creative roles, our client believes the best work comes from being connected with the team in person. The team is in the office on Mondays and Fridays, with flexible WFH options available mid-week.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing marketing team, ensuring the team helps achieve business goals, strengthens client relationships, and drives business growth. This role spans strategy and execution across multiple marketing channels and requires an understanding of both B2B and B2C purchasing behaviour.

This is a hands-on role ideal for a creative and organised marketing all-rounder. You will play a key part in supporting content production and campaign delivery - writing, coordinating, and helping bring to life the ideas that build their brand, drive demand, and educate prospects and customers.
You will create clear, engaging content for a range of audiences and channels, coordinate marketing activities across campaigns and events, and help them stay consistent, efficient, and on-brand as they grow.
The right person for this role will have 3+ years’ experience in content, marketing coordination, or communications.
