Social Media Coordinator

Our client is a full-service creative agency that specialises in event management, brand activation, and promotional services across Australia. They work with brands to deliver memorable experiences through experiential marketing, including product launches, corporate events, and retail promotions.
Reporting to the Senior Account Manager and Head of Social & Content, you will work with a small but dynamic team of savvy marketers for one of the agency’s major accounts, focusing on all things Digital, Social & Comms. You will also be responsible for executing across all major social channels and working with the team on day-to-day content activity. There is also the opportunity to be a part of the strategy & creative planning for the right candidate.
In this role, you will be required to:
- Have 1-2 years of experience with managing content activity across various social media platforms
- Demonstrate you are socially active on key social platforms (Meta and TikTok) and be enthusiastic about contributing creative ideas and knowledge of key trends both internally and via client reporting
- Assist in researching best practice across traditional / non-traditional competitors to ensure best-in-class social content
- Manage the content calendars and day-to-day community management across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) & TikTok
- Own content scheduling, management & identify User Generated Content
- Source and manage new and existing social influencer's & talent
- Assist with weekly & monthly reporting along with monitoring of social media trends
- Develop strong and genuine client / stakeholder relationships – ideally have a confident & outgoing personality who has experience being a trusted key Point of Contact when required
- Have the right cultural fit and attitude, and a passion for all things Social and creative.
- Be in the office, 5 days a week
