Digital Marketing Specialist

Our client is a fast-growing Kiwi e-commerce success story in the business of creating unforgettable moments. They are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team on a fixed-term contract.

This role owns the digital marketing function and drives growth across all channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role — you won't be writing strategy decks for someone else to implement. You will be in the platforms every day: building campaigns, helping optimise ads, writing EDMs, updating Shopify, analysing data, and making decisions that directly impact revenue.

Reporting to the GM/Operations Manager, you will have real ownership and autonomy. If you are the kind of marketer who gets excited watching conversion rates climb, loves testing and iterating, and wants to see the direct results of your work, this is your role.

This is a broad role, overseeing Paid Advertising, Email Marketing, Shopify & Website, Content & Social, and Analytics & Reporting.

The right person for this role will have 3+ years' hands-on experience in digital marketing (e-commerce experience highly valued), with proven skills in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.  You have built and optimised campaigns yourself. You will have experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) and be comfortable working in Shopify - updating products, pages, and content. A strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, on-page optimisation and being data-driven is a must.

You will have excellent copywriting skills — you can write ads, emails, and web content that converts and basic design skills (Canva or similar) are a plus but not essential.

This is a fast-paced business, and you will be stepping in at a peak time with Christmas campaigns live. You will be able to hit the ground running and be happy to muck in and help, wherever the team needs support.
